Can I try SurfCAD without paying?
Yes. Try the editor and create a Basic PDF for free. Sign in to save cloud projects. Production 3D files and Technical PDF require paid access.
What is a revision?
A saved snapshot of your board. A one-time purchase applies only to that exact revision. If you change the board and save a new revision, the purchase stays with the earlier one.
What is the difference between $9 and Shaper Pro?
$9 buys permanent production access to one selected revision. Shaper Pro provides production access across available revisions in your projects while the subscription is active.
What happens when I cancel Shaper Pro?
You cancel future renewal. Access continues until the paid period ends. Valid one-time revision purchases remain available after the subscription expires.
Which formats and units can I export?
STL, OBJ, 3MF and PDF. 3D files support millimeters, centimeters and inches. Export is the recommended mesh quality; lighter Low, Preview and High meshes are also available. Check units when importing STL because it has no standard unit field.
Where do I find an older purchased revision?
Open My Projects → Revision history. The editor opens the current board, while the history keeps production files tied to each saved revision.
Do files disappear after 24 hours?
Generated files expire from the cache after 24 hours. You can generate them again while you have valid production access; cache expiry does not cancel a purchase.
Payment succeeded but my revision is still locked. What should I do?
Allow a short time for confirmation, then refresh the history. If access is still missing, email support with your order number before purchasing again.
How do refunds work?
Contact support with your order number and the problem. Requests are reviewed individually under applicable law and Lemon Squeezy's rules. A confirmed full revision refund ends permanent access. Read the purchase and refund terms.
